Nikhil takes it to his heart and promises Karishma that he would prove himself within seven days.
Meanwhile, Meeta who is crazy in getting her goals fulfilled enters the scene. Meeta’s sister Karishma requests Nikhil to find a room for her in a hotel. To make Karishma delighted, Nikhil gives a room to Meeta in his own flat.
Nitkhil and Meeta now start spending time with each other and proximity begins to develop between the two. Nikhil realises as to why he is not the apt person for Karishma and Meeta comes to know about the actual reasons for her anxiety. How the odd-couple brings their crazy family in track forms the rest of the story.
Positive Aspects:
Music is catchy, especially the Zehnaseed song
Sidharth Malhotra has bettered his performance when compared to his debut film Student of the Year, also a Dharma Productions movie
Parineeti fits the role of Meeta
Costumes
Negative Aspects:
Screenplay, here and there
Not the typical Bollywood love saga
At some points u feel the scenes could have been trimmed
Analysis:
Hasee Toh Phasee, the movie title itself draws some laughs. The movie how a boy and a girl whose wavelengths don’t match get attracted. Nikhil (Sidharth Malhotra) is engaged to be married to Meeta’s sister. Parineeti is Meeta here. Then when does the cupid strike? Will the two get together? Watch the film to find out. With a good dose of comedy, emotions and love all in right proportions, the movie is a winner. Hasee Toh Phasee a perfect movie for the Valentines month.
Hasee Toh Phasee is indeed a fun movie but sometimes the unwanted twists in the middle of the movie restrict the flow of the storyline.
Parineeti steals the show yet again. Sidhharth Malhotra, who made his debut with Student Of The Year, has also done a good job.
The music is pleasing to the ears but we’re not too sure how long it’s going to rule the charts. Drama Queen and Punjabi Wedding Song’ stand apart while the rest of the songs fail to make a mark. The song ‘Zehnaseeb’ has a sensuous feel and is in a rhythmic flow. If you’re looking for a light-hearted feel-good film, this movie can be a good watch.
