Latest AP elections Survey

A private organization in Bangalore held survey with questionnaire based on latest political developments in Andhra Pradesh. This was conducted during the first week of September’2013. Both CBN and Sharmila have started their tours in SA district. This survey has conducted on two angles. What is the political situation in 2014 if elections happened in “United Andhra Pradesh”? Which party won in SA and in Telangana if 2014 elections would hold in two separate states?

Congress and TRS combo has swept as many as 80+ seats in Telangana out of 119. Assuming that, both TRS and Congress have alliance without going for merge in 2014 elections. TRS and Congress combo would get maximum credit for the formation of Telangana. TDP will get 28 seats throughout the region. Party won many seats in GHMC range and in Khammam district. MIM and BJP will share rest of the segments in Telangana.

Coming to SA, Congress party has wiped out from this region totally. TDP will emerge as the single largest party 86 missed just two short of the majority. YSRCP is in second position with 71 in this region and Congress with 14 seats. In UA districts, TDP has won 17 out of 34 and YSRCP 11. In South Coastal districts, TDP won 49 out of 89, YSRCP won 32 and rest will go to Congress. Out of 52 seats in Rayalaseema region, YSRCP has won 30 and TDP with 20.

If elections will held in United Andhra Pradesh, TDP would emerges as winner in the state. Party won 161 seats in the state including 111 seats in SA and 50+ in Telangana region. Many people believe that TDP is the only alternate to Congress. Congress and TRS would share 50 segments. Remaining goes to BJP and MIM. Congress and TDP get one each when state bifurcation is inevitable. If elections held in United Andhra Pradesh TDP would chance to come to the power.
